I’m based in Fence Houses and looking for advice on selling some gold and silver jewellery. I’ve got a few 9ct and 18ct rings, some broken gold chains, and a handful of silver jewellery that’s no longer worn.
I’ve tried a couple of local jewellers but the offers were a lot lower than expected. Auctions don’t really appeal due to the wait and fees involved. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I’ve heard good things about Northern Bullion as well. Most high street jewellers don’t seem great when it comes to scrap gold or broken jewellery.
Same here. I had a broken 18ct bracelet and some silver bangles. Places like Northern Bullion tend to weigh and value items individually, which feels much fairer.
Good to know there are better options than local jewellers. I’ve been told Northern Bullion are worth checking if you want transparent pricing.
