Hi AFTA, I am looking at having a house clearance done when my mothers house is sold in Bridge of Allan – Stirlingshire.

There are a number of Georgian pieces of furniture plus some not valuable modern furniture and bed, book cases and books.

There is also a fair bit of junk to be cleared from the garage and out house.

It’s a 3 bedroom house that we’ve cleared to degree and cleaned already for sale.

I would like the details of an AFTA house clearance member working in the Bridge of Allan area please?

Good Morning, A few weeks ago my fathers house had been sold, the new buyers requested the house to be completely cleared and cleaned afterwards before the exchange of keys. I came across Northern House clearance who are respected members of AFTA.

I called up to receive a quote and to book a date for the house clearance to be carried out. The house had been lived in for over 20 years, we had only removed a few personal belongings that the family wanted to keep.

The Northern house clearance team arrived at 9am on the given date, they began the clearance of the house, we asked if they could keep all paperwork, family photographs, valuables etc to one side for us. Once they cleared the whole house they then cleared the shed and the garage which contained tools, old furniture, rubbish etc.

The team kept all of the valuables including jewellery, watches a small amount of antiques, paperwork and some framed family photographs to one side for us which they gave to us when we arrived back to the property, they also manage to keep a pile of bric a brac and some of the furniture for a local charity and donated all of the bedding and towels to the cat and dog shelter.

The team took roughly 6-7 hours to completely clear and clean the house, garage and shed. I can honesty recommend them to anyone needing a house clearance done.
