I am looking for information for a trusted house clearance team to come and clear out my late step fathers council house in Byker before Christmas.
I have packed up most of the smaller items but I do not seem to be getting any nearer to having the place fully emptied. It is a two bedroom end of terrace house, one bedroom was used as a study. I am planning to keep the washing machine and dishwasher with some personal items he owned but everything else must go.
The council have told me the carpets have to be pulled up and taken away as well. I also need to have the garden cleared – it is very overgrown but my step father used to spend a lot of time gardening and their is various equipment (lawnmower, tools, bags of soil etc) in an outer storage shed and plant pots that I need taken away.
Could someone give me details for a company that can take on the work as soon as possible please.

Hey Jessy, earlier on last month I had a flat cleared in Byker on the front of the high street. It was a total nightmare trying to find a decent, dependable company to hire but AFTA give me details for Northern House Clearance.
They only needed 48 hours notice when I called and they give me a price over the phone, pretty straight forward really I just let them in at 9 am and they got on with it. There was a shared yard at the back of the flat but because I was the only tenant I had to have it all cleared even though it was other people fly tipping in the back lanes, I explained this to the lady I spoke with and they done the yard as well as the house at no extra charges.
Nothing was a bother to the three lads that arrived, one was carrying stuff out while another was pulling a carpet up. Cracking work, wouldn’t fault their company at all. Massively grateful. AFTA has all their details under this link Northern House Clearance
