Hi AFTA staff
We haven’t got a ‘houseful’ to clear but do have some items of furniture to dispose of from my late mother-in-law’s a small ground floor flat in Castle Douglas.
A single bed, bedside cabinets and drawer units, an armchair, a small dining table and four chairs. A TV and corner unit TV stand, a low living room floor unit with matching shelf on the wall above. A number of pictures and mirrors and kitchen utensils pots & pans etc.
Can you recommend to us a fully licensed and insured house clearance service operating in the Castle Douglas area?
We’re not local but will be there for a day or two next week when we hope to clear the flat prior to it being sold shortly afterwards. Heather

Hi heather, two weeks ago I was tasked with clearing my aunts three bedroom house in castle Douglas prior to sale. I found a fully licensed and insured company that came highly recommended by AFTA.
The house clearance company called Northern House Clearance send out a team of three house clearance specialists to clear the house. My family and I had already cleared a lot of the items from the house leaving roughly ten large items of furniture. The clearance team had this cleared within a short hour. I highly recommend them.
