Hi there i am needing a little house clearance advice my dad died a couple of months ago. He owned a 2 bedroom upper floor flat in Galashiels
Over the past 2 months our family have been thru all the drawers and wardrobes and cupboards, items of sentimental value put to one side and the next door neighbour has helped take away most of the clothes for the homeless …. which now leaves the furniture (1 double bed, various wardrobes, chest of drawers, sofa, reclining chair etc …)
I obviously do not want to use fly tippers or cowboys so can you recommend a licensed and insured house clearance company that is trustworthy with kind regards Sheila
Hi Sheila, sorry to hear about your loss. Last year our gran died and we ended up using a company called Northern house clearance, the staff were friendly and professional and everything was completed without any hassle.
They donate many items to charities, they are not the cheapest and not the most expensive, like everything you get what you pay for. They are a licensed and insured house clearance company
We came up from London and they never let us down, i think the girl we dealt with was Tiffany if i recall correctly.
All of their details can be found here Northern House Clearance
