I’m based in Seahouses and looking for some advice on selling gold and silver for cash. I’ve recently sorted through a few items including an 18ct gold ring, a couple of 9ct chains (one is broken), and some silver jewellery and small silver items.
I tried a local jeweller and also checked prices while passing through Alnwick, but both offers were much lower than expected. I’d prefer to avoid auctions due to fees and long wait times. Can anyone recommend a good place to sell gold and silver near Seahouses?
I had the same experience locally. Once items are classed as scrap gold or broken jewellery, most places don’t seem to offer fair prices.
