Good Morning, I am requesting some information on a reputable house clearance company who are verified members of AFTA and also specialise in clearing extremely cluttered properties.
I am a teacher and have a four bedroom extremely cluttered house in Leeds that is in desperate need of a clearance.
I have been hoarding for over ten years, it is at the point where my home is ruining my life, I should be able to go home and it feels like its home, but at the moment it feels like hell.
I have decided to bite the bullet and have my whole house completely cleared, I can’t let myself live like this anymore, I am depressed and on the verge of just walking away from it.
I have arranged to have all new furniture, carpets, appliances and household items delivered by the end of next month, prior to this I will need the clearance carried out.
I have been living in one bedroom in my house as my living room, kitchen, EVERY room is piled floor to ceiling with clutter.
I have a compulsive problem with buying things online so pretty much everything is brand new, I would sell it but I can’t bare to look at it anymore so would appreciate it if it could be donated to charity instead of going to waste.
Amongst the clutter is a fair amount of rubbish I’m not going to lie, old newspapers, empty crisp packets etc.
I am in desperate need, can someone please help?

Good Afternoon Joan, Last November I decided to bite the bullet too and have a complete fresh start.
I am a nurse who works night shift and I could never be bothered to tidy up when I came home so my house had become such a mess and filled with rubbish and clutter.
On a morning when I would come home, I would lie on the sofa and excessively buy things on eBay, it got to the point where I was so depressed because of it I had to take some time off work.
My house is a three bedroom in Leeds.
I found a company on AFTA called The Cluttered House Clearance Company, at first I requested some information and went back and forth with myself until I decided it was time and finally booked their services.
The three specialists met me at my home on the day of the clearance, I went and stayed at a friends house until the house was cleared as I couldn’t bare to see everything being removed.
I asked for absolutely everything including carpets and kitchen appliances to be cleared, like you, I wanted a fresh start, I had removed my clothing, jewellery and belongings so that everything left could be cleared.
As I was not present for the clearance, the hoarded house clearance specialists kept me updated on how the process was going, they managed to donate two whole van loads to charities in Leeds and recycled the rest.
The whole process took three days from start to finish.
Once the house was completely cleared, I met the team back at my home where they showed me around, I was absolutely amazed at how different my home now looked, they done an amazing job in such a short time period.
I am now back at work and my life is no longer gloomy, I look forward to coming home again and have completely stopped buying online, I am much happier, and all thanks to The Cluttered House Clearance Company.

Hi Joan, A few months ago I also used The Cluttered House Clearance Company to clear my mums three bedroom extremely cluttered house in Leeds.
My mum had hoarded most of her life and her home became extremely cluttered with rubbish, junk and clutter.
