Hi, I need to have an extremely cluttered hoarded house cleared sometime next month. My great aunt has moved into residential care due to her home being extremely cluttered.
My aunt has been a hoarder most of her life and her home is now inhabitable. Every room in her home is extremely cluttered with mass amounts of junk and rubbish.
It is a three bedroom bungalow in Manchester. The bungalow has three bedrooms, a living room, dining room, kitchen and a bathroom.
My aunts master bedroom has not been accessed in over five years, she has mainly lived in the living room, we have no idea what is in her bedroom and would require a reliable house clearance company to retrieve any valuable items from her bedroom and from the rest of the house.
The other two bedrooms are full of boxes of toys, books, bedding, crockery etc, stuff my aunt has hoarded for many years, things from her childhood, from my cousins childhood etc.
The kitchen is a huge kitchen, half of it has been partitioned with a wall of stacked boxes, I have no clue as to what is behind these boxes, all appliances, furniture, food waste, everything, needs to be cleared from the kitchen.
The dining room door is barricaded with huge piles of rubbish, clothing, food waste etc but from what I remember, the dining room has a large dining table with chairs, a sideboard, two corner units and a bookcase.
I can’t stress enough as to how cluttered the bungalow actually is, it could take more than a week to clear.
The living room has a three-piece suite, a double bed and mattress, two televisions, a fridge freezer and a large amount of bric-a-brac.
All the carpets throughout the bungalow need to be cleared too.
Any information of a reliable house clearance company who specialise in clearing extremely cluttered and hoarded properties would be much appreciated.

Good Morning Simon. Last week we had a specialist company in to clear my uncles cluttered and hoarded house in Manchester.
My uncles house was full to the brim of years worth of clutter, junk and rubbish, every room including the bathroom had been piled high to the ceiling with furniture, books, rubbish, magazines, clothing etc, I don’t know how he managed to move around, there was no floor space visible.
I was extremely embarrassed by how cluttered the house was and tried to clear it myself, I found once starting that it would take me months to clear it alone and decided to hire a specialist company to help.
